Mine & medical paramedics, training and response services
Immediate Assistants Paramedics deliver the highest level of professional mine medical response

Immediate Assistants Paramedics deliver the highest level of professional response to any emergency situation as well as delivering ongoing clinical management, staff health and wellness programmes, and Medical Evacuation (Medevac).

Immediate Assistants Paramedics have diverse and experienced backgrounds, encompassing clinical pre-hospital skills, rescue, helicopter, long-distance Medevac, mine medical experience and hospital-based care credentials.

These qualified health care professionals are experienced in working independently in remote locations such as mines, oil rigs and similar environments with minimal medical supervision.

Immediate Assistants Paramedics have continual access to the Immediate Medical Access line. They are complimented by specialist equipment required to provide leading-edge medical services for the treatment of high risk environment work-related and non-work related injuries and illnesses.

Immediate Assistants has one of the most robust Clinical Governance Frameworks within Australia.

All Paramedics are screened by the Medical Director and senior qualified assessors to ensure that commitment to world’s best standards is maintained as part of our ongoing Clinical Governance and Quality Assurance programmes.

Immediate Assistants’ Paramedics are experienced, accredited, registered and current professionals and under this Clinical Governance Framework, they engage in continuing Professional Development to maintain their skills.

Immediate Assistants Paramedics have a minimum 4 years on-road and/or mine medical experience.

Medical personnel rely not only on their skills but on Clinical Protocols that govern how they respond in given situations; this is a key element for paramedical professionals operating outside the public sector. Without approved protocols and medical governance it is illegal for paramedics to administer some drugs.

Immediate Assistants has established and tested protocols, practised procedures, state-of-the-art equipment, Quality Management Systems (QMS) and recently completed ISO:9001 accreditation.

The company has the Registered Training Organisation (RTO #5577) accreditation for the training programmes it provides under Australian Skills Quality Authority  (ASQA).

Immediate Assistants medical staff are covered by our corporate Medical Malpractice, Workers Compensation, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance policies (AUD$20 million).

Paramedics not only provide the highest level of care, but often represent a lower direct cost to our clients, saving clients money in employee rehabilitation and replacement costs, while keeping employees in work.
